Accounts Assistant

RadioWorks, the UK’s leading radio advertising specialist, is looking for an accounts assistant to manage the purchase ledger for a small finance team, based at our new W1 offices in the heart of London’s media-district.

A strong team-player, you will need to provide assistance to two regional offices as well as liaise with the media teams. Ledger experience is required as is the ability and aptitude to multi-task and assist in all accounts procedures including providing cover for the sales ledger as and when required. If you enjoy a fast moving industry and are commercially aware then we are looking for you. You will need to be familiar with tight deadlines and fully conversant with Sage Line 50 2007.

This is a varied role that requires individuals who have the ability to think ‘outside the box’ and possess the necessary self-motivation to work unsupervised. Experience within either an advertising agency or with the media industry would be an advantage.

IT Controller (Title TBC dependent on successful candidate)

RadioWorks, the UK’s premier radio advertising specialists, has a fantastic opening for someone to join our IT/Digital team.

The successful applicant must have an extensive understanding of Microsoft platforms within a networked environment and an understanding of digital media.

We’re looking for someone who is prepared for a hands-on role within a diverse and busy environment, supporting three offices within the UK. They must be a strong team player and committed to ensuring our systems are fully operational at all times.

This role working alongside the Digital and Web team is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is currently responsible for a networked environment and can offer the following experience / skills:-

Skills / knowledge:

- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP/Vista and Office2003/2007 in a networked environment.
- Proficiency in MS SBS, Windows Server 2003, Terminal Services maintenance and administration including MS Exchange.
- Experience with LAN/WAN/VPN’s.
- Confident with network security applications, devices and procedures.
- Strong technical background.
- Fault finding, analysis and rectification.
- An understanding of HTML, PHP, CSS, MySQL within a web environment.
- Knowledge of the MITEL 3300 VOIP system or similar.
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM techniques including the use of PPC would be a distinct advantage.
- Project management skills.
- Management and training skills preferred.
- Ideally some knowledge of or experience in the radio market.

They must be results driven – have experience within the digital advertising arena and be able to present ‘digital lingo’ in a style that is engaging, exciting and easy to understand.
